The residence was acquired on the occasion of Baron Pompeo Danzetta’s marriage to the noblewoman Angela Friggeri and was called “La Favorita”. For the event it was decorated with the baronial coat of arms and oculi with neoclassical figures by the painter Mariano Piervittori (1816-1888). Since 1933 it has been owned by the Bianchi family, who have revitalised the surrounding farm.
